Never get a speeding ticket ever! I received a few emails that I was possibly paying too much for Auto Insurance. I figured I was anyways because anything over free is too much. Nonetheless, I decided to do some investigation to see if I can get some savings. I find out that I can save $70 a month if I went with a different insurance company. I get to the end of the quote and decide to call the agent to make sure that it was a real quote. Apparently I qualified for a “good driver” ($23) discount until they found out two months ago that I got a speeding ticket. The price of the quote went all the way up to my existing policy!
I was under the impression that if you paid it before it was late then it wouldn’t count towards me. WRONG! Money will not set you free. If you get a ticket, it stays with you for 5 years! At least in Ohio.
So for speeding I got an expensive ticket plus high insurance quotes for the next five years. Can I get a YOLO discount?
